ESCEM forms young curious, enthusiastic professionals and with the ability to adapt to a variety of environments. Students follow the 4 main guidelines that ESCEM selected in the very beginning:
- Its implication towards local people and firms
- Its diversified offer of pedagogical programs
- Its international attractivity built over the years
- Its national and international alumni network
All along their studies, students work to improve their professional path, develop their competences and personality which will make the difference in the job market.
Students can take part in several types of projects: fund raising, humanitarian involvement, business games,… Whatever their project or initiative might be, they are always supported and they commit and engage themselves.
Involvement is a key word in their learning path : both personal and collective, it must allow methodology learning, general knowledge and culture, oral and written skills and leadership abilities. All these competencies are valued by the business sector and acquired by ESCEM students.
This desire for excellence, combined with professionalization allows ESCEM students to create opportunities and turn them into successes.
ESCEM is spread over 3 campuses situated in 3 dynamic and ambitious cities all turned toward international development: POITIERS, ORLEANS and TOURS.
As International incoming students, you will be assigned to the Tours Campus.
Tours is one of the largest cities in the Loire Valley. Extending along both sides of the Loire river, Tours has always been an important communication hub between northern and southern France – and Europe. Just one hour by fast train from Paris, with regular flight connections to London, Oporto, and Dublin among others… it is a resolutely European city!
The Loire Valley is renowned for its history, gastronomy and culture. Known as an “Art and History City”, Tours sets itself apart by the quality and wealth of its architectural patrimony. Previously chosen as a residence by Kings of France, the prosperous city saw the construction of superb buildings that can now be discovered as you stroll around, notably in the very lively area known as the Quartier Plumereau. The significance and quality of this patrimony make Tours a high point on any cultural tourism journey.
The BAIB (Bachelor of Art in International Business) program
You can submit your application for one semester or you can choose to undertake a double degree by staying at ESCEM for one year.
The Bachelor in International Management prepares students to evolve and work in their future professional multicultural environment. The program is complete and allows students to capture the fundamentals of finance, commercial activities, corporate strategies and intercultural management. These elements are essential to every future manager wanting to evolve within a national or international environment.
At ESCEM, students are part of a the ESCEM family: all the students and the staff are available to help you, listen to you and share their time with you.
In September, international students are welcomed by one of our students or staff members when they arrive at the Tours train station. Then, we organize a bank and healthcare dedicated day so that international students can directly settle all they need for their stay in France. Several banks, as well as insurance companies will be invited to the campus, English-speaking advisors will be available to inform and help students.
A lot of events are organized by the ESCEM student associations. International students will be able to participate in all the events and discover the region in that way.
The Aloha association is dedicated to the international students. Trips, events, dinners and a lot more are organized throughout the year.
The city of Tours is also well implicated in student life and the integration of the international students:
In September, the city of Tours welcomes students for the « Night for International Students »(NEM of Tours), an event at which all the international students of the city can meet up, spend time together and expand their horizons by meeting students from all around the world.
