2 undergraduate degrees
ESCEM School of Management offers 2 undergraduate degrees: the Bachelor in Management and the Bachelor of Arts in International Business (BAIB).
ESCEM’s Bachelor in Management
Admission to ESCEM’s Bachelor in Management program is by way of competitive entrance examination, taken immediately after the Baccalaureate (all subject areas).
The program amalgamates academic excellence (curriculum content on Management), professional experience (Student Associative projects, internships, Personal & Professional Development project and mentoring) and international exposure (working knowledge of English and a second foreign language required, obligatory overseas stay during 3rd year in a partner university or company, option of double-degree).
Students can elect to take the curriculum either in French (on both the Tours and Poitiers campuses) or in English (Poitiers campus only). The English language content of the Anglophone curriculum is as follows :- 1st year – 30% of lectures delivered in English, 2nd Year 50% and 3rd Year 100%.
At the end of their studies, students will have completed 3 years of study at university level recognized officially by the Ministry for Higher Education and Research. At this stage graduates can then opt either to enter the workplace straight away (according to the school’s market survey conducted in December 2009, 65% of students elected to do this, 93% of whom had secured jobs within 2 months) or to go onto Master’s level studies at a business school or alternately at a French or overseas university.
* In 2011 ESCEM’s Bachelor in Management was ranked 4th amongst French business schools in a student poll conducted for the Figaro Student magazine.
